The Shoe, a short animated film

I've never done animated work before, so this is my first! The inspiration for this peice was the prompt "Shoe". I'm not sure where the idea came from other than the fact that I'm drawn to the darker sides of humour. I kept sketching out ideas and when I came across this one it dawned on me that it had to be animated. Thanks to the magic of YouTube University and the thoughtfulness behind the software engineers at Adobe I was able to pull it off without too much hassel. My hat goes off to all the artists working on full length animated projects. It's such a time consuming process! This one took about 10 hours, and that got me about 16 seconds of film!

It was quite fun putting the soundtrack together. I don't know why but I immediately wanted to hear banjo, so I recorded a little tune to accompany the film.
